Singing The World is an exhibition that celebrates Arts Centre Melbourne’s collection of early paintings from Papunya in Central Australia.
The exhibition moves us between cultures and into the landscape, observing how great ancestral Dreamings that are tied to the cultural identity of the Western Desert peoples are sung into material existence through paint on canvas.
