National Theatre of Great Britain presents

War Horse Workshop - National Theatre Puppetry Workshop

Specifically designed for children aged 10 – 16

Devised by puppeteers and actors from the National Theatre, this workshop is designed to give students hands-on experience and understanding of how to create characters through the use of puppetry techniques employed in the production of War Horse.

Using the process actors underwent in the rehearsal room in London, participants learn the movement, breath and skills required when operating puppets in the theatre. The workshop culminates in an improvised scene from the play.
