War Horse Workshop - Songs and Soundscapes Workshop

Specifically designed for children aged 10 – 16

This workshop examines some of the cellular ideas that form the building blocks of composition used by the musical creators of the production.

It begins with a short performance that incorporates song as a powerful theatrical medium and then takes the folk songs from War Horse as a creative starting point for participants to develop their own work. Participants will adapt these processes to create their own unique compositions, based on our own Australian warhorse themes and stories.
