The Women of Letters traditional format will be especially tinkered with for The Famous Spiegeltent, as a few invited gentlemen will put pen to paper, so to speak. For this entirely unique “People of Letters” show, five “pairs” of artists are invited to read “A letter to my other half.” There’ll be a musical break during which the audience are encouraged to write letters of their own - aerogrammes, pens, stamps, and a beautiful old wooden post box are all supplied. Women of Letters is a lovely excuse to pay tribute to writing.
The Women of Letters events have celebrated wine, women and words with monthly soirees. Don’t miss this event tailored especially for The Famous Spiegeltent.

Women of Letters
Women of Letters is a Melbourne literary salon which has been selling out since its inception in March 2010. Having already hosted such talented dames as Helen Garner, Noni Hazlehurst, Megan Washington, Angie Hart, Clare Bowditch, Adalita Srsen and many more, Women of Letters pays homage to the art of writing missives.
