In this important ANZAC Centenary year Arts Centre Melbourne has a range of programmed activities which acknowledge the sacrifice many people made for their country, both at Gallipoli and at other times of conflict since.
In accordance with the nationwide commemorative activities and the important reverence given to ANZAC Day, Arts Centre Melbourne has adjusted its performance program for two events originally scheduled to be held during the morning of Saturday 25 April.
Phantoms of the Theatre Ghost Tours originally programmed for Friday 24 April at 11:30pm and Saturday 25 April at 12:01am will not proceed, with an additional tour added on Friday 24 April at 11:00pm for affected ticket holders to exchange into.
Performances of Rain, scheduled for Saturday 25 April at 10.30am and 12noon will also not proceed. An additional performance at 3pm on Saturday 25 April has been scheduled. Ticketholders have the opportunity to exchange into any available date and time, including the new 3pm show.
Ticketholders unable to attend Rain or Phantoms of the Theatre Ghost Tours during any other available date and time can access a full refund. Our Ticketing Services team will contact affected ticketholders by phone to explain all options.
These changes have been made to reflect the solemnity of the ANZAC commemorations and to comply with standard regulations which apply up until 1pm on Saturday 25 April.
Arts Centre Melbourne’s 24-hour car park will operate as normal. On Saturday 25 April the Theatres Building will be open from 4am to provide facilities for those attending the Dawn Service. Cento on the forecourt will begin operations at 6am. Café Vic will open as usual at 10.30am. The Arts Centre Melbourne box office and call centre will be open from 1pm.
