From short courses to special programs associated with selected shows, Extended Learning programs encourage dedicated students to form a deeper engagement with the performing arts.

The role that the arts collectively can play in transforming students’ learning more broadly should also be realised and celebrated.

Robyn Ewing, Australian Education Review

Arts Centre Melbourne from time to time will ask teachers to nominate students or a class to take part in one of our Extended Learning programs.

These enriching experiences provide students with an opportunity to delve deeper into an aspect of the performing arts. Past programs have explored areas such as playwriting, music composition and design.

While our Extended Learning programs are perfect for students of the arts, they also provide cross-curricular opportunities in learning areas such as English, humanities and mathematics.
