Professional learning for teachers encourages, inspires and develops educators to teach with and through the arts. Arts Centre Melbourne is committed to offering programs that build capacity and confidence for teachers at all levels of experience – from pre-service to leading teachers. The activities, ideas and learnings can be implemented across a range of educational areas. Our professional development workshops and sessions are open to all educators and pre-service teachers.

We have an extensive archive of teacher resources from shows as far back as 2009. These are available for download as PDFs. You can find these resources here.

Participation certificates include the date and duration of the PD, and can be used as evidence of required PD hours for VIT registration.

Arts Centre Melbourne is located at 100 St Kilda Road, Melbourne VIC 3004 between the National Gallery of Victoria and the Yarra River. It's only minutes away from Federation Square, Flinders Street Station and the CBD.

Drop off points for chartered buses are located in the (city-bound) service lane of St Kilda Road outside the NGV and Hamer Hall, but there is no parking permitted at these locations. Two-hour bus parking is available opposite Arts Centre Melbourne along St Kilda Road and is regulated by the Melbourne City Council.
