How do I hire an Arts Centre Melbourne venue or space?

How far in advance do I need to book a theatre venue?

We recommend booking 12 – 18 months in advance to ensure you can lock in the venue and dates that suit your requirements.

Can I book a theatre for one day?

Hamer Hall is the only venue available for one-day hire.

Can I do my own ticketing?

Arts Centre Melbourne offers a comprehensive ticketing service online, by phone and in person at our box office*. All tickets Sidney Myer Music Bowl events are available for purchase via our ticketing partner, Ticketek.

Will my venue hire include equipment and technicians?

Hamer Hall hire fees includes a standard lighting and audio rig. All other venues come with bare walls. Equipment is available but any technical labour incurs an additional cost. All Arts Centre Melbourne venues require a minimum crew to ensure safe operations.
