Tech Connect leverages the Arts Centre Melbourne’s status as a Registered Training Organisation to support Victoria’s regional creative industries.
Following consultation with the Victorian Association of Performing Arts Centres (VAPAC) and regional performing arts communities, the program has been designed to help address industry skills shortages by providing theatre relevant hands-on training for theatre technicians living in regional and remote areas.
WorkSafe Victoria have also supported the program with the integration of the award-winning Arts Centre Melbourne-led Arts Wellbeing Collective workshop program, promoting positive mental health and wellbeing for workers across our creative state.
Tech Connect is made possible through a partnership between the Andrews Government and Arts Centre Melbourne.
