What is still open during this time?
The Arts Centre Melbourne car park is still open, but Valet Parking is not available. Should this change we will update this information accordingly.

All our buildings (Theatres Building, Hamer Hall and Sidney Myer Music Bowl) are closed to the public. This includes the Australian Music Vault.


Do I get a ticket refund for a cancelled performance?

Yes. Tickets for performances purchased through an authorised outlet will be fully refunded, including fees. For more information, visit Affected Performances.


Will performances be rescheduled?

We are working tirelessly to reschedule as many performance as possible. For more information, visit Affected Performances.


Can I donate my ticket refund value to support the Arts industry?

Yes. Performing arts workers across the state are experiencing the immediate and devastating impact of event cancellations and venue closed due to COVID-19. We strongly encourage people to donate the value of refunded tickets, or another amount, to one of three tax-deductible charities.


I’m attending a scheduled function, conference or meeting. Should I attend?

All functions, conference and meetings during the closure period will not be proceeding. Please contact your event organiser directly in regards to any ticket purchases or enquiries.


I’ve organised a function, conference or meeting. What should I do?

If your function is due to be held during the closure period, our team will be in touch with you soon.


I have tickets to an event scheduled for after Monday 13 April. Should I plan to attend?

Performances scheduled on and beyond April 13 will proceed as planned. Any changes to performances will be communicated to ticketholders by email or phone.


Will there be performances broadcast online during this time?

We are working to bring the wonder of the performing arts to everyone during this time. Broadcast performances will be free of charge and available to view via YouTube and our social media channels. Information on upcoming broadcasts will be shared on our website and social media channels.


I’ve booked an education class, Valet Parking, a Guided Tour and/or a Food & Beverage Package. What do I do?

All tours, parking and food & beverage bookings during the closure will be refunded automatically in line with how we process performance ticket refunds. You can do not need to contact us for these refunds to be processed. Our car park is still open for standard parking, but Valet Parking will not be available.
