What is open?
Following the latest Victorian Government guidelines, scheduled performances and events from 27 June are currently postponed.
For ticket holders booked to attend an upcoming performance, when a new date is confirmed we will contact you by email.
Our car park will remain open - please see below.
How do I use the car park?
For safety and convenience, our car park is now a cash-free facility. Please ensure you have a valid credit or debit card to pay for your parking.
We also now offer contactless payment and access to the car park. Download the Ubipark app for convenient and contactless access to our car park via your mobile phone.
Parking is available on the lower level only, with entry from Sturt Street. All cars exit the Arts Centre Melbourne Car Park onto Southbank Boulevard and must turn left. The exit onto Sturt Street is currently closed.
Valet Parking is not currently available.
How do I buy tickets to an event?
Due to current government guidelines, our venue and Box Office are currently closed, so you won’t be able to buy tickets to events onsite. You can buy your tickets on our website or contact us on 1300 182 183.
What about Tixatsix?
We are not currently offering our usual TixatSix offering.
When do you expect to fully reopen all of the theatres?
We are closely following the advice and requirements of government health authorities and will reopen our theatres when it is safe to do so and when our presenters are able to return.
Will you continue to offer digital content?
Yes, we will continue offering digital content, through our Together With You platform.
I have a ticket to an upcoming event. How will I know if it is going ahead?
All ticket holders will be contacted directly and notified if there are any changes to their upcoming events.
Do I get a ticket refund for a cancelled performance?
Yes. Tickets for performances purchased through an authorised outlet will be fully refunded, including fees. For more information, visit Affected Performances.
Can I get a refund if I am unwell or someone I have been in contact with displays symptoms?
If you, or someone you have been in contact with, are displaying symptoms of COVID-19 please contact us at email@example.com to request a refund. Symptoms of COVID-19 include fever, chills or sweats, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, runny nose or loss of sense of smell.

I’m attending a scheduled function, conference or meeting. Should I attend?
All functions, conferences and meetings during the closure period will not be proceeding. Please contact your event organiser directly in regards to any ticket purchases or enquiries.
I’ve organised a function, conference or meeting. What should I do?
If your function is due to be held during the closure period, our team will be in touch with you soon.
I’ve booked an education class, Valet Parking, a Guided Tour and/or a Food & Beverage Package. What do I do?
All tours, parking and food & beverage bookings during the closure will be refunded automatically in line with how we process performance ticket refunds. You do not need to contact us for these refunds to be processed. Our car park is still open for standard parking, but Valet Parking will not be available.

We ask that you and each member of your booking party make a reasonable assessment of your health status before attending our venue or the event. What am I required to do when I visit?
All visitors must practise strict physical distancing.
Will I be required to wear a mask if I come to Arts Centre Melbourne?
No, we do not require our visitors to wear masks when in Arts Centre Melbourne, but we do request that you maintain appropriate physical distancing and follow the health and safety recommendations of government health authorities.
Performing arts workers across the state are experiencing the immediate and devastating impact of event cancellations and venue closures due to COVID-19. We strongly encourage people to donate the value of refunded tickets, or another amount, to one of three tax-deductible charities.
