StoryKids is an engaging and educational storytelling podcast, putting the spotlight on young voices across the nation. Original stories written by children are transformed into immersive audio storyscapes, performed by much-loved Australian personalities. Dive into the new season, which features Casey Donovan, Alan Brough, Benjamin Law, Eddie Perfect and more.

'StoryKids' was created by Amelia Christo and Verity Hunt-Ballard, in partnership with the Australian Literacy and Numeracy Foundation.

2. Sapling School – Poorneet Season | Abbotsford Convent

Convent Kids have teamed up with play specialist Catherine Sewell to bring you a digital version of Sapling School, a program encouraging and supporting children’s connection to community and the land. Discover the wonders of Poorneet (Tadpole) Season in the Kulin Nation’s calendar and learn how to plant seeds, then get your hands dirty exploring your backyard, local creek or park!

3. Poppykettle Children’s Festival | Geelong Arts Centre

Inspiring children to think creatively about the world around them, Poppykettle Festival brings to life theatre experiences for young audiences. This year’s festival has gone online, and features Little Wing Puppets’ Trinket the Robot, a lively, funny and interactive solo puppet show. 4. Toddler Jam | Footscray Community Arts Centre

Get toddlers active and learning through play with this series of free, online workshops. Join tutor Razz Rasmussen for a mixture of percussion, singing, dancing, story-time and mindfulness, set to a fresh and fun music selection that will be enjoyed by big and little kids alike!

Workshops  are free but registrations are essential. Wednesdays, 14 October to 16 December.
