Hosted by Shane Jacobson, Keeping The Curtain Up is an evening dedicated to musical theatre, taking a look at some of the best moments from musicals produced in Australia in the last decade or so.

Special guests include Lisa McCune, Lucy Durack, Alinta Chidzey and Zahra Newman as they revisit much-loved shows including Phantom of the Opera, Les Misérables, Mary Poppins, Billy Elliott, My Fair Lady, The Rocky Horror Show and many more.

You will see performances from stars of the Australian stage including Reg Livermore AO, Jemma Rix, Hayden Tee, iOTA, Paul Capsis, Esther Hannaford, Eddie Perfect, Kate Ceberano AM and Genevieve Lemon, entertaining you as only these icons can.

Keeping The Curtain Up promises to be a fun-filled night that will have you singing along to your favourite show tunes.

The program was devised and produced by David Mitchell and Jon Nicholls OAM, and directed by Martin Croft.

“Over the years the performers generously gave their time and talent to make the Helpmann Awards the success they have become. This is one small way we can help those that have found themselves in great difficulty during this insidious pandemic,”

says producer Jon Nicholls OAM
