September School Holiday Online Workshops

The Channel's school holiday workshops are now available online! Join a leading arts facilitator for a fun and interactive virtual workshop that will get you singing, dancing and making music. Check out the range of workshops for ages 6-18 below.

The entire program of workshops are FREE for all participants, acknowledging the extreme impact COVID-19 is having on our community. Registrations are essential.

 

For little ones

Move, Make, Create: Lit Steps workshop

Lit Steps - Children's Hip Hop
Ages 6 - 12 | 28 September, 2pm

Come get jiggy on the screen and join L2R Dance instructors Dai and Lanie for a Hip hop dance workshop! The workshop will focus on hip hop grooves while promoting a safe dance space for all children to have fun.

Move, Make, Create: Bollywood Dance workshop

Bollywood Dance

From Mumbai to Melbourne, be introduced to vibrant wonders of Bollywood dance! Joshinder Chaggar will lead you through the basics of a fun Bollywood routine to get you shaking and grooving.

Move, Make, Create: Lyric Writing workshop

Ages 10 - 16 | 1 October, 2pm

Join Eva Popov (Hello Satellites) for a virtual lyric writing session. Using a variety of techniques and exercises, Eva will guide you through the process of coming up with a song idea, and expressing that idea in interesting ways!

Established producer and visionary behind the Music Production for Women movement, Xylo Aria will facilitate a hands-on workshop giving young music makers practical tips for getting started with Ableton Live.
