Give children a life-changing arts experience

Arts Centre Melbourne is a place for kids and their families to gather for magnificent experiences that ignite their imaginations and fill them with a sense of play and wonder.

Twice a year we launch a carefully curated Kids & Families program targeted specifically at families’ audiences.

These diverse programs include performances from the most in-demand companies from Australia and across the world, as well as a range of free events, creative workshops, immersive experiences and an artist-in-residence project.

We’re also delighted to feature a number of inclusive performances designed for young people with a disability and their families to enjoy.

Coming to the theatre transports us to new places, presents us with different perspectives and takes us on unexpected adventures. Through our Kids & Families program, you and your family can see a show based on one of your favourite books, experience stories from different cultures, participate in hands-on creative workshops or discover the secret spaces in smaller immersive events.

We're committed to keeping our tickets affordable and making your experience at Arts Centre Melbourne as family-friendly as possible. We also have plenty of delicious café and restaurant options to keep you fueled while your imaginations are also being fueled by our great program. We even offer exclusive discounted parking rates when you come to see our shows.

So, come join us for your next big adventure under the spire soon!
