Arts Centre Melbourne's Participation Programs invite people of all ages and backgrounds to connect to the venue, to their city and to each other through engagement with projects and initiatives that encourage active participation, creative exploration and personal expression.

The programs seek to foster an understanding in our community that Arts Centre Melbourne is everyone's arts centre. They include the Betty Amsden Participation Program, offsite workshops, ongoing community collaboration and spontaneous performances in and around our buildings.

We partner with community groups, service providers, local councils, trusts and foundations, cultural organisations and businesses to ensure we have authentic and meaningful engagement with new and existing audiences.
