Melbourne Symphony Orchestra 2018 Season

Discover the joy, drama and passion of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra’s Season 2018.

We present a year of extraordinary concerts featuring the world’s best conductors and soloists alongside our brilliant MSO musicians, led by our inimitable Chief Conductor, Sir Andrew Davis. Featured guest artists in 2018 include the legendary Anne-Sophie Mutter in her first-ever Melbourne appearance; Eva-Maria Westbroek headlining our Opera in Concert; and the great Maxim Vengerov. We also welcome guests such as Thomas Hampson, James Ehnes and Nelson Freire.

Other highlights include the new MSO Mornings Series, a Leonard Bernstein celebration, our annual Chinese New Year concert, MSO at the Movies and more. MSO’s Family Series will see the orchestra team up with Circus Oz and Tripod. Share our passion in 2018 and enjoy the many rewards of being an MSO subscriber. Book a series or curate a personal playlist of your favourite artists and repertoire with a Create Your Own Series.
