Breath and Circles brings together irresistible melodies with the driving energy of Korean percussion.

In an unforgettable set of compositions by Christopher Hale, explore the intersection of Korean rhythms and contemporary jazz. Praised as an “Australian jazz heavyweight and a brilliant, ground breaking composer” (Rhythms magazine), Christopher is one of the most respected musicians in Australia. In an exclusive one-off performance, he will be joined by a stellar line-up of international guests and the some of the best improvisers in Australia.

This is the fourth concert in Meeting Points Concert Series – an intimate collection of performances that bring together unexpected musical styles to create electrifying collaborations. Featuring an incredible line-up of international artists accompanied by Australia’s leading contemporary music ensemble, the Australian Art Orchestra.
