Awakening The Senses is designed to immerse participants in the sensory tool kit and palette that Sensorium utilizes when creating work for children with disabilities.
Participants will work with partners to explore a variety of sensory stimuli whilst experiencing temporary sensory impairment. As well as exploring multisensory creativity, the workshop provides an opportunity for participants to reflect on the sensory sensitivities of the children they engage with and the different ways they might navigate the world around them.
The workshop will include time for discussion and debrief.
