Turner prize winning artist, Bafta-winning TV presenter and bestselling author will make his Australian stage debut this January.

Artist, author, TV presenter, provocateur. Grayson Perry, acclaimed as one of the most powerful people in British culture, makes his Australian stage debut in a show unlike any other.

There are very few things that don’t fall into Perry’s sights over the two or so hours that he is on stage. He laments the state of politics, turning his ire briefly to Trump as well as the British political system.

Voting is a central theme of the night. Audience members are given electronic keypads and throughout the evening have the opportunity to vote on various questions, profound and mundane. Voting hopes to prove that democracy has terrible taste.

‘Brilliantly clever, disturbingly illuminating’. Interactive and insightful. A unique personal journey through politics, both personal and otherwise. Trump, Brexit, art and gender identity.

Grayson Perry: Them & Us. A one-man show that’s about each and every one of us.
