Turn up the volume in Hamer Hall with high energy live music, starring Baker Boy!
What better way to connect with classmates than with a live performance in an iconic Melbourne venue?
A rising star of the Australian hip-hop scene, Yolngu artist Baker Boy will bring his energetic, fun performance style to the stage. Singing, dancing and rapping his way through some of his most popular tracks, the multi-talented performer is sure to get students out of their seats!
Carefully curated with young music fans in mind, this performance is a rare opportunity for students to experience live music in a safe and supportive environment.
Hailing from the Northern Territory, Danzal Baker, aka Baker Boy, raps in English and Yolngu Matha representing his Arnhem Land family. A former Young Australian of the Year, he hopes to inspire younger generations to embrace their culture and become leaders in their communities.
Crowds will be warmed up by DJ MzRizk and support acts Halo Vocal Ensemble and L2R Dance. The performance will be hosted by Tiktok creators Swag on the Beat.
Complimentary refreshments and merchandise will be provided to all attendees of Baker Boy.
