A collision between cultures and musical approaches.

In a series of intimate salon-style concerts, Meeting Points brings together unexpected music styles to create electrifying collaborations.

Featuring an incredible line up of artists from Japan, South Korea, China and Arnhem Land, along with some of Australia’s most dynamic musicians; brought together by leading contemporary music ensemble, Australian Art Orchestra. An unmissable expression of contemporary Australia through music.

Enjoy a glass of wine with the performance at Bombini Buzz, our newest café, eatery and bar alongside the Yarra River.

About Australian Art Orchestra

The AAO epitomises a 21st century approach to music making. Its musicians are as comfortable improvising as they are reading high-level notation, they can play a burning rock groove, understand esoteric conceptual work, and are enthusiastic about collaborating across cultures and disciplines. The AAO is an important vehicle for the exploration of contemporary music and art for imagining what Australian music might sound like in 20 years.

The Australian Art Orchestra is assisted by the Australian Government through the Australia Council, its arts funding and advisory body and is supported by the Victorian Government through Creative Victoria.
