From boardroom meetings to cocktails, the Hugh Williamson Room is bold luxury in the Melbourne Arts Precinct.
Boasting spectacular views over St Kilda Road towards Queen Victoria Gardens, the Hugh Williamson Room is one of Arts Centre Melbourne’s most popular event spaces. With floor to ceiling windows, ample natural light and a private adjoining balcony, the Hugh Williamson Room transforms easily between boardroom functions, intimate dinners and cocktail parties. With a bold azure-toned interior, charming entrance lounge and private bathroom facilities; this is a hidden gem.
Named for one of the original trustees when the then-Victorian Arts Centre was built, banker and philanthropist Hugh D.T. Williamson C.B.E., the room’s azure wallpaper is printed to resemble wood panelling. Not a texture and colour combination you’d probably normally imagine!
