Arts Centre Melbourne is located at 100 St Kilda Road, Melbourne VIC 3004 between the National Gallery of Victoria and the Yarra River. It's only minutes away from Federation Square, Flinders Street Station and the CBD.

Drop off points for chartered buses are located in the (city-bound) service lane of St Kilda Road outside the NGV and Hamer Hall, but there is no parking permitted at these locations. Two-hour bus parking is available opposite Arts Centre Melbourne along St Kilda Road and is regulated by the Melbourne City Council. Parking for standard sized vehicles is available in Arts Centre Melbourne Car Park via the corner of Sturt and Kavanagh Streets, Southbank. Learn more about the Arts Centre Melbourne Car Park.

We don't want you to miss any of your performance or workshop, and we're sure you don't either, so we strongly encourage schools to arrive at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time.

However, if you are running late please do get in touch.

If you are running late for a performance, please call the Welcome desk on (03) 9281 8298. On your arrival you will be admitted to the auditorium at a suitable break in the performance.

Guided Tours - Our guides will take students through the foyers and into the auditoriums (where available) and reveal the history, design and function of the buildings, as well as explaining the significance of the artwork that fills the walls of our foyers. The Australian Music Vault - The Australian Music Vault is an exhibition at Arts Centre Melbourne that celebrates the past, present and future of Australian contemporary music. Delving into the extensive Australian Performing Arts Collection, objects will be on display for schools and the general public that will inspire and engage, telling the stories of the Australian music industry and its fans.
