In another exciting year for Melbourne theatre audiences, MTC will present a selection of stories filled with adventure, love, friendship, drama and discovery.

To open the Season, legendary performer Miriam Margolyes stars in Alan Bennett’s moving UK comedy, The Lady in the Van. Simon Phillips returns for another night of Shakespearean enchantment – this time directing a hit new stage adaptation of the Oscar-winning film, Shakespeare in Love.

Kat Stewart stars in a quirky romantic comedy from the Tony Award-winning writer of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, Heisenberg, while acclaimed Australian playwright Stephen Sewell imagines what might have transpired when two extraordinary met for Arbus & West.

And to close the Season at Arts Centre Melbourne, Nadine Garner reprises the role that Nicole Kidman made famous in the West End hit, Photograph 51.
