Dominoes

One day
One line of dominoes
A celebration across the city

Experience the thrill of thousands of breezeblock ‘dominoes’ falling one by one to create a moving sculpture, running through the city and unfolding over the course of a day. Along paths and promenades, through buildings and across plazas, the domino line works its way through the urban fabric of Melbourne, creating an unforgettable celebration for all who live, work or visit our city.

Conceived and directed by UK-based Station House Opera, Dominoes was first created as a celebration to link the five “host boroughs” for the London Olympics Arts Festival and the project has since been presented in over ten European cities.

Saturday 6 February 2016

  • The Domino set up across the city commences from 1pm
