Suitability – Years 3 - 12

Moving through the three phases of filmmaking – pre-production, production and post-production - learn useful filming and editing techniques designed to take your students’ films to the next level.

This workshop introduces students to the basic concepts of how to set up a documentary shoot or a live action film. Students will be guided through the three phases of filmmaking (preproduction, production and postproduction), and learn useful filming and editing techniques that will take their films to the next level.

This is a BYOD (bring your own device) workshop and students will quickly learn and practice fun hands-on exercises in small groups. Please note skills learned in this course are not limited to a particular piece of video editing software or type of camera.

This workshop is an excellent way to begin any unit of work with a filmmaking element or outcome. Please get in touch to discuss how we can support your teaching.
