Low Sensory Session: Saturday 2 July, 11am – 12pm

This session is for anyone who would benefit from a more relaxed environment. It will have minor changes to the experience, such as lowering the soundscape volume, and ear plugs will be available upon request. There will be more ushers available to help visitors, and fewer visitors moving through the space than at other times. During the session you can stay for a short time or for as long as 30 minutes.

Major event declaration

Kaleidoscope is subject to a major event declaration under the Major Events Act 2009. It is an offence for tickets to be sold, or offered or advertised for resale, at a price exceeding its face value purchase price by more than 10%. Breaches can result in heavy fines of up to $109,044 for an individual and $545,220 for a company (from 1 July 2021). The authorised ticket sellers for Kaleidoscope are Arts Centre Melbourne and RISING. The venue has no obligation to accept tickets purchased via unauthorised re-sellers if they are sold in breach of the Victorian Government’s Major Events Act. Unauthorised re-sellers include Viagogo, eBay, Facebook Marketplace, Gumtree or similar. These may be invalid tickets and will not be honoured.
