We acknowledge the traditional owners of the land on which Arts Centre Melbourne stands, the People of the Kulin Nation. We recognise their continuing connection to the lands and waters of this area and we pay our respects to their elders, past, present and future.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people please be aware that this website may contain images, voices or names of deceased persons in photographs, film, audio recordings or text.
You certainly can. In fact, we would love to show and tell you about a bunch of stuff you might never know unless you get the lowdown from one of our excellent tour guides! Head to Explore the Buildings for more information.
Our Theatres and Exhibitions (front of house) tours are wheelchair accessible, and we can offer the portable audio loop to assist with hearing needs. Auslan Interpreters can also be arranged if requested far enough in advance. Our Backstage Tour meanders through some tricky parts of our building, which unfortunately means it is not accessible to wheelchairs. For further enquiries please contact Arts Centre Melbourne’s Disability Access Manager on (03) 9281 8503 during business hours
There are no age restrictions on the Theatres & Exhibitions (front of house) Tours, but our Backstage Tours do have a minimum age requirement of 12-years-old. All minors 15 and under on any of our tours must be accompanied by an adult.
