Live at the Bowl is a four-month festival held at the iconic Sidney Myer Music Bowl from 4 January to 28 April 2023. The program features music, dance, community-led and family-friendly events.
Sidney Myer Music Bowl is an outdoor amphitheatre located in the Kings Domain Gardens, Linlithgow Avenue, Melbourne VIC 3000.
Entry to the venue is through Gate 1, located in front of the King George Monument.

Sidney Myer Music Bowl's box office is located outside the venue, to the right of the Gate 1 entrance. The box office opens 1 hour prior to the gates opening.

City of Melbourne bicycle hoops can be used for parking bikes near Sidney Myer Music Bowl. The closest locations are St Kilda Road and Southbank Boulevard outside the Victorian Collage of the Arts; and on Birdwood Avenue near the Shrine of Remembrance.
Please check in with event staff on arrival at the venue. If your tickets are in the stalls you will be asked to cloak your pram, but please speak with our visitor experience team on arrival for further assistance.
The Sidney Myer Music Bowl is an outdoor venue however a minimum dress code applies. Shirts and shoes are required at all times!
Our cloak room facilities are available for all events. The cloak room is located outside the venue, to the right of the Gate 1 entrance.
The show will go ahead rain, hail or shine! The venue is an outdoor amphitheatre so if it's looking a little rainy, remember to pack a raincoat.
Small umbrellas are allowed into the main lawn area but must be closed during the performance so as not to obstruct the view of those behind you.
Ponchos are available at the venue.

Flinders Street Station is a short tram ride or a 10-15 minute walk away. Tram stop #17 on St Kilda Road is the closest tram stop, with the following tram routes stopping here: 3, 5, 6, 16, 64, 67 & 72.
Limited parking is available in the streets surrounding the venue on Linlithgow Avenue and St Kilda Road.

To book wheelchair accessible seating, Companion Card tickets, or seating close to an interpreter (for relevant events), please use Ticketek’s enquiries form.
You can also phone Ticketek's Accessible Seating booking line on 1300 665 915 between Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm (AEST).
Wheelchair accessible seating is located in the Balcony areas and the final row in the Stalls (subject to availability).

Babies under 24 months who will be seated on a guardian's lap do not need a ticket. There may be exceptions, please refer to the event page
This does not apply to 18+ events, no person under the age of 18 is permitted in the venue.
Afterpay is available on all purchases via Ticketek.
When choosing Stalls or Balcony it will allocate you what’s ‘best available’ at the time so you wont be able to choose your exact seat.
All Reserved seating (Stalls/Balcony) is allocated when you buy your ticket so you will know where you will be sitting as soon as you’ve purchased your ticket.
There is no allocated seating for general lawn admission tickets.
Due to safety restrictions, we are unable to provide pass outs. You won’t be able to re-enter once you have left the venue.
Please check you've logged into the Ticktek app with the correct account. If you bought tickets using a different login, the app won’t connect the accounts.
You can copy the link from the text message and open it in the web browser on your phone and your ticket will load.
If you can’t see all the tickets in the Ticketek app, please head to the Box Office at the venue from 1 hour prior to the gate opening time of the event and we can re-issue the tickets for you.
A variety of food trucks will be onsite. Bars will be open serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
You are welcome to bring reasonable amounts of food at most events, please check the conditions of entry on the specific event page.
When planning your day please keep in mind, glass, hard-sided containers or large eskies, or sharp knives are not permitted within the venue.
The food trucks on offer will differ from event to event and can change in the lead up to the event. We always aim, however, to provide a variety of options.
